Welcome to 2020…. This year is looking already to be huge for Delhaven!  We have already begun a new working partnership with the City of La Puente which has enabled our Day Care participants to expand their Car Detailing business to include the City vehicles and expand their Yard Crew service to now include the La Puente, Nature Park.  Our Regional Center grant that we received is only about a month away from now from officially starting which is a new program designed to have our day cay care participants in a new community-based program.

Summer is coming upon us very quickly, which means that it is time for Delhaven Community Center’s 47th annual SUMMER DAY CAMPS for children ages 5-14 years!  Filled with fun-filled exciting activities, trips, and friendships, campers experience a variety of new challenges and activities that give them the opportunity to laugh, and enjoy a summer of fun as all kids should.   Our camp schedule is as follows:

FUNSEEKERS TRAVEL CLUB for our special needs participants will be once again headed out on another adventure as they head up to the Beautiful Discovery Bay up in Northern California.  They will be staying at a beautiful home along the river, visiting San Francisco and Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf, visit the Capitol in Sacramento, fishing, listen to music, play pool, enjoy great friendships and more!  Sunday, April 26th to Friday, May 1st.

Delhaven will be holding our 1st annual Corn Hole Tournament on
Saturday, June 13th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The event will have three divisions including service clubs, family, and open (more competitive).  There will be entertainment throughout the day, food booths, prize money for the winners, and more!
